Cherry Whisky - Part 4 - Fresh Fruit

Fresh Cherry Flavoured Whisky Recipe

This recipe is the last of a multi-part trial of 4 different ways of making cherry flavoured whisky.
In this recipe I use fresh cherries.

I'm using the same whisky as for the frozen morello cherry recipe and keeping the amounts about the same to make comparrison easier.

  • 100g Fresh Cherries
  • 150ml Whisky

  • Suitable jar or container.

  1. Destalk the cherries then cut them in half and remove the stones.
  2. Place the cherries in the jar.
  3. Add the whisky.
  4. Store in a cool dark place for about 2 months.
  5. Bottle in a clean, suitable container.
