Raspberry & Lime Flavoured Whisky

Make your own Raspberry and Lime Flavoured Whisky

Raspberries and Whisky make me think of Cranachan, probably the best known Scottish dessert traditionally served at Scottish weddings. I've shied away from Caranchan here using lime zest instead of honey although I may try that in the future.

Ingredients

Equipment

  • Zester
  • Suitable bottle or container

Method

  1. Place the raspberries in the bottom of the container.
  2. Zest the lime and add to the container.
  3. Fill with Whisky.
  4. Store in a cool, dark place for 2 months.

Raspbery & Lime Flavoured Whisky made.

Update

I originally only used 6 raspberries for the recipe but experience gained from some of the other tastings had led me to up that to 12 for amount of whisky in the jar. The pics above were taken before I did this.
